District Photo Inc is a printing company that has decades
of experience helping their partners grow their business through their service. Their experience and enthusiasm leads to growth, reliability and a great brand experience for their customers. District Photo Inc hosted a logo contest during the summer of 2018 and this was my proposal for their new logo.

My Role
I started by researching local and online printing services. When researching logos I noticed many printing companies had outdated logos. This sparked the idea of having a modern logo that showcases their mission as a company. Although my design wasn't chosen I used it as an opportunity to learn and make a brand identity systems using my design.
Brand Purpose
The purpose of District Photo Inc is to provide their partners and clients the best printing experience possible. The new DPI logo-mark provides an emotional connection between the product/service and user. The smile is the outcome the brand is looking for. Either it being a smile after receiving your print or the smile before a photo. The new logo-mark reflects their mission as a brand compared to the original logo type.
